"Langeweile: Ley Lines #15" by Oliver East
Ley Lines is a quarterly publication dedicated to exploring the intersection of comics and the various fields of art & culture that inspire us.
"Find time
Kill time
Repeat.”
Langeweile is the German word for boredom, literally ‘a long passing of time.’ Based on Martin Heidegger’s concept of profound boredom, the structure of each page is based on the three stages of perception: retention, immediate present and protention. Here East writes a poem that revels in the boredom of waiting in the terminal for your flight.
