It's Moving Day at The Birdcage
So things can stay the same!
Hi comix fans. You may have heard that our sister business, The Birdcage Comics Café, closed its doors after three years of operation. Besides the loss to the local arts scene, it means that your favorite comics distro has needed to relocate its base of operations.
The good news is that we have a new warehouse and all the stock is secure! The challenge is that we need to unpack and reorganize our inventory, a process that's going to take a while. So we're not accepting any orders for the next month or so until the dust settles and we're comfortably back up and running.
We're Pausing for the Summer

We've got a little business to attend to behind the scenes, so sales are paused on our website for the moment. Feel free to browse the catalog—our artists and creators are definitely worth a look!
Of course, you're always welcome to drop by the Birdcage Comics Cafe in San Bernadino, where we still have all the minicomics, 'zines and other works on tap alongside our tasty beverages and snacks. Feel free to call the cafe ahead and order the books you want so we can have it ready for you!

We want to pay you!
We were happy to settle accounts with folks this past winter and spring. Everyone who responded got cash back from the distro. But unfortunately, about a third of the creators whose books we sell have NOT responded yet!
If you have books in the distro and haven’t gotten your 2023-2024 payout, PLEASE get back to us. Email info.birdcagebottom@gmail.com right away. It may be a little or A LOT, but those sheckles have YOUR name on ‘em!
